We wanted to make the best out of the last night in Cairo before we headed to Hurgada, we wanted to prolong it.
The elevator took us on the top of our hotel where the terrace awaited us. Staring at the sight shocking to eyes we drank the coffee that wasn’t as Arabic strong as I thought it would be. To the awakening of our taste, vision, sound and touch we added some shisha aroma to train all the senses to their perfection. I fell in love with the aromatic smoke and sadly I must admit that shisha never had the same full taste as it did then. You can have Cairo only in Cairo; everything else is just a vague reflection of what one forces to relive.
We said goodbye to the play of lights that leaned towards the pyramids. We took a deep breath and absorbed what was given to us as much as our lounges were capable to do so.Labels: coffee, egypt, lights, pyramids, shisha |
